As per the sources, the Chairman of the Taliban’s Political Office, Doha, Qatar Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar are likely to head the Taliban’s Government. The formation of the government has been delayed by a day, first, it was to be announced on Friday. Where Mujahid said that now it will be declared on Saturday.

It has been more than two weeks since, Taliban has captured Afghanistan and now, they are set to form the government in Kabul by following the lines of the Iranian leadership. With the top religious leader Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada as Afghanistan’s supreme authority.

In Iran, the supreme leader is the highest political and religious authority of the country and ranks above the president and appoints the heads of the military, the government, and the judiciary. The supreme leader always has a final word in the political, religious and military affairs of the country.

Mullah Akhunzada, a top religious leader of the Taliban who has been serving at a mosque in the Kachlaak area of Balochistan province for over 15 years. Therefore he would be the leader and no one would question that.
