A teen music fan has delineate the instant he was splashed with acid at city competition.
Olly Spencer-Littlewood, 17, was close to the front of the crowd look main stage performer Post scholarly person on Sunday once he felt his leg burning.
After being taken to hospital in royal line for treatment, the William Bradford stripling aforementioned he was told it had been acid and he may well be left with scarring.
Witnesses to the attack ar being sought-after by police.
Mr Spencer-Littlewood aforementioned he thought he had been splashed with water at first before feeling his leg burn.
“I complete it wasn’t water and got one amongst the protection guards to assist Pine Tree State over the fence and he took me to the first aid tent,” he said.
He was treated for the burn at hospital ANd was told it had been an acid attack.
“Idon’t recognize what is going on through their head to require acid to a competition and to throw it on someone else,” he added.
“I’m simply happy it’s not severe and it wasn’t in my face.”
His father Craig Littlewood aforementioned he was in “shock and disbelief” once he was told his son had been attacked.
“It was like: ‘Is somebody creating a joke phone call?’,” he said. “It was alarming.”
“It’s one amongst your babies. He may be seventeen, however he is still your baby.”
Mr Littlewood aforementioned he was grateful to hospital and competition workers WHO helped treat his son’s injuries.
West Yorkshire Police aforementioned it had been investigation the incident and appealed for witnesses to come back forward.
