Keep the following date in mind: The date is Feb. 28, 2022, when Memphis Grizzlies great Ja Morant came close to ending the career of San Antonio Spurs player Jokob Poeltl.

In the two teams’ meeting on Feb. 28, the 6’3′′ point guard knocked down a tremendous in-game dunk.

Steven Adams passed a one-handed half-court pass to Morant. He received the ball well ahead of the three-point line, took two dribbles, and dashed outside the paint for a vicious dunk over the Austrian centre, who was 7’1′′ tall.

Take a look at the dunk from several perspectives.

Against San Antonio, Ja Morant had the sickest in-game dunk you’ll ever witness.
Check out the dunk in real time, as well as the crowd’s reaction inside the FedEx Forum in Memphis.

Morant, who will play in the NBA All-Star Game in 2022, had 29 points, four rebounds, and an assist in the first half against the Spurs.

Even the most casual NBA fans know that the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant are must-see television.
