Disney+ has reported that Inside Out 2 garnered an impressive 30.5 million views within its first five days of streaming, following its premiere on September 25. This makes it the platform’s biggest film premiere of 2024 and the largest for a theatrical release since Encanto launched in 2021. Additionally, the film achieved the highest premiere numbers for Disney+ in both the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and Latin America.

The film’s streaming success follows its remarkable box office performance earlier this year, where it became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, surpassing Frozen 2 with a staggering $1.7 billion in earnings against a budget of $200 million. It was also the first film of 2024 to cross the $1 billion mark and continues to hold the title of the year’s highest-grossing film, even after Deadpool and Wolverine reached $1.3 billion.

The first Inside Out film has also seen a resurgence in popularity, with Disney reporting over 121 million views globally since the release of the sequel’s first teaser.
