Rosalía has unveiled her latest collaboration, “Omega,” featuring Spanish producer and singer-songwriter Ralphie Choo. The announcement came earlier this week alongside a teaser clip from the music video, directed by Stillz, which showcases the duo enjoying a rollercoaster ride.
It remains uncertain if “Omega” will be part of Rosalía’s upcoming album, a project she confirmed in a recent interview with Highsnobiety. She expressed her ongoing passion for music, stating, “I still have the same questions and the same desire to answer them… I still have the same love for the past and the same curiosity for the future.”
Rosalía has previously expressed admiration for Ralphie Choo, noting their shared cultural background and versatile genre fluidity. Ralphie, signed to Rusia-IDK, is recognized for his innovative blends of flamenco, R&B, hip-hop, and reggaeton. His debut album, “Supernova,” was highlighted as one of 2023’s best albums by Variety.
This forthcoming album will mark Rosalía’s fourth official studio release, following her acclaimed 2022 project, “Motomami,” which won Album of the Year at the 23rd Latin Grammys and garnered several other awards. “Omega” follows her collaboration with Lisa on “New Woman,” co-written by Tove Lo, and her previous work with Björk on “Oral” last year.
