On August 27, the actress and entrepreneur took to Instagram Stories to share her latest relocation news, revealing that she and her two children—daughter Harper, 9, and son Ford, 7—will be moving out of their Cayman Islands home in just three days.
Chambers, 42, expressed her gratitude for the support she’s received during this challenging period. She thanked her “lai,” her “extraordinary bf,” and friends like Jo Jordan, who has been instrumental in managing her business, Bird Bakery. Her boyfriend, Ricardas Kazinec, has also played a significant role in easing the moving process. “The amount of hours he has spent at FedEx. This one [is] getting me through it,” Chambers wrote in a separate post, highlighting Kazinec’s dedication.
The Cayman Islands have been a significant part of Chambers’ recent years, especially since the onset of the pandemic. It’s worth noting that her ex-husband, Armie Hammer, also resided in the Cayman Islands after the couple’s separation in 2020. Hammer faced a series of serious allegations, including emotional abuse and unusual sexual fetishes, which further complicated their split.
While Chambers didn’t disclose her next destination, her moving update coincides with Hammer’s recent announcement that he’s starting fresh in Los Angeles. On August 27, Hammer, who turned 38 on August 28, posted a video on Instagram revealing his new apartment and his decision to sell his cherished truck due to high fuel costs. The truck, which he bought in 2017, holds sentimental value as it was used to bring Harper and Ford home from the hospital.
“I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift … and I have loved this truck intensely, taking it camping, across the country, and on long road trips,” Hammer said in his video. “But you know what? That’s okay. I got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably gonna put about 10 bucks of gas in it a month, and this is it. Here’s to new beginnings.”
As Chambers and Hammer navigate their respective new chapters, their ongoing transitions underscore their commitment to moving forward and embracing fresh starts in their personal lives.
