Microsoft’s GitHub has introduced GitHub Models, a new interactive sandbox designed for developers and engineers to explore a variety of AI models at no cost. This new platform allows users to experiment with top models, including Meta AI’s Llama 3.1, OpenAI’s GPT-4o and GPT-4o mini, Mistral AI’s Mistral Large 2, and Cohere’s Command.
Currently in its beta phase, GitHub Models provides a hands-on environment where developers can deploy and test AI models. The platform integrates seamlessly with existing tools like GitHub Codespaces and Visual Studio Code, enabling users to test prompts, adjust model parameters, and streamline their development workflows.
The launch aims to simplify the process of integrating AI into projects, offering developers a valuable resource for experimenting with cutting-edge technologies.
