When Ellie Goulding took up acting lessons last year, she said it had made her more entertaining at parties. But the pop star’s husband, Caspar Jopling, clearly needs no lessons.
In snaps shared on Instagram, Caspar served a tray of tequila slammers watched by the bride with a lime slice clenched between her teeth. Then the art dealer carried the bride round on his shoulders as bridesmaid Ellie, 35, looked on.
At the wedding of Ellie’s pals, stylist Zoe Jervoise Graham and sales director Ben Sullivan, Eton and Oxford-educated art dealer Caspar, 30, was the life and soul of the party.
Caspar’s wife Ellie Goulding is returning to the music scene after a career break to raise her son Arthur, fifteen months. The singer released her first single Easy Lover after a two-year break this week and says she will now make music ‘people want to dance to and forget everything’ after the pandemic.

Working with rapper Big Sean on the track she told The Mirror: ‘It’s about the age-old tale of being infatuated by someone cool and beautiful knowing that they will never quite feel the same’.
Ellie’s last release was 2020’s Brightest Blue and featured the songs Worry About Me, Power and Slow Grenade, the songstress was due to take the album on tour however was forced to delay her plans due to COVID.
