Rosie O’Donnell is now a grandmother three times over, with her daughter Chelsea giving birth to her third granddaughter, Avery Lynn.The 59-year-old comedian took to both her TikTok and Instagram to share a new video revealing she’s a grandmother once again, along with a new snap of the newborn Avery Lynn.
Rosie’s 24-year-old daughter also shares three-year-old Skylar Rose, Riley and newborn Avery Lynn with boyfriend Jacob Bourassa. O’Donnell added in her video, ‘OK big news. Congratulations to my daughter Chelsea, who had her third daughter this morning.’
‘Three girls under three, oh my gosh! The baby’s name is Avery Lynn, and Chelsea and Jake and Skyla and Riley and baby Avery are all doing fine,’ she added. ‘Call me Nana 3. 3 grandkids. I’m a nana. I love it, ‘ O’Donnell concluded.
O’Donnell adopted Chelsea with her former partner Kelli Carpenter-O’Donnell, with the mother and daughter having their fair share of issues.Chelsea ran away from their home in Nyack, New York, and she was found a week later in Barnegat, New Jersey.
They had been estranged for several years, but O’Donnell announced they had reconciled in 2018, when Chelsea was expecting her first child. She opened up about having a grandchild on Late Night with Seth Meyers in 2019, stating,”It was something really beautiful.
‘It’s very trite, but it’s what everyone says when you’re a grandparent, it’s like a baby times a million. And that’s what it felt like,’ she added.‘I think with my relationship with my daughter, Chelsea, it really has because we went through some really public troubled times,’ she said on The Talk in 2018.‘She’s doing better now and we’re both communicating with each other,’ she added.
