Putin had made his intentions clear

Even before the recognition of Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk, Russian President Vladimir Putin made his stand clear. During this meeting, when the chief of Russia’s foreign intelligence started giving advice on Donetsk and Luhansk, Putin immediately silenced him. Putin’s attitude and tone were such that while replying, the intelligence of the chief of the intelligence agency started faltering.

According to the report published in CNN, Putin was given the right to give formal recognition to Donetsk and Luhansk in the meeting. After the exercise of this authority by Putin, Russian soldiers entered the Donetsk and Luhansk ‘republics’ as peacekeeping forces. Western countries have strongly criticized this move of Russia. Along with this, America, Britain and some countries of the European Union have imposed sanctions on big Russian companies and banks.

Ukraine’s army should surrender: Russia

Western countries have been saying for several days that if Russia attacks Ukraine completely, then it will be subjected to extensive sanctions. Apart from this, Russia did not show even the slightest leniency in its stand and Putin finally declared war against Ukraine (Russia Starts war against Ukraine). Russia has informed the world about its decision. Putin has said that anyone who interferes in the proceedings on Ukraine will face strong resistance.
