One such case was seen in the Lake District. Here a man took his wife to a hill to propose, where he had expressed love 27 years ago, but during this a painful accident took her life.
Proposed at the same place wearing 27 years
Dr. Jamie Butler, 54, living in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, UK, went to visit with his wife Margaret. This area is situated on beautiful hills and lakes in the Lake District. Butler proposed his wife for marriage at this place 27 years ago. He had returned to this place to reminisce about the old days and wanted to propose Margaret again in the same fashion, but fate had different plans.
foot slipped because of the fog
Both of them went out for a walk on the hill in the afternoon, that day visibility was low due to fog. During this, Butler’s foot slipped in the hill while walking and he died after falling into a 300 feet deep gorge. Butler’s body was found at the bottom of the hill and there were many injury marks on his body.
Butler went out to find the place to propose
Margaret told that that place had a special place in the hearts of both of them. When both reached the hill, she was quite tired. In such a situation, Dr. Butler himself set out to find the place where he had proposed for marriage. In her statement, Margaret told that she had last seen Butler going in the haze.

He told that shortly after Butler’s departure, he called, but got no response. After that called the police. On getting information, mountain rescue teams arrived and they found Butler dead at the bottom of the hill.
Butler was part of the physio team
Dr. Butler joined Manchester City Football Club in 2007 as a medical officer. He became the Senior Medical Officer in the club in 2009. After this he became part of the physio team in the Premiership rugby union team Sail Sharks.
co-workers expressed grief
Butler’s former colleague, Doug Jones, pointed out that he was a truly brilliant man who didn’t have a bad word to say about anyone. He was deeply loved by the staff and players of both SAIL and Man City. At the same time, Margaret said that he loved her very much and left behind her two twin sons.
