Distrust against the government in Pakistan:Crisis on Imran’s chair before elections, Bhutto-Sharif’s party will bring No Confidence Motion

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan’s chair is facing a crisis as soon as he comes back from China tour. Pakistan’s opposition parties together have decided to bring a no-confidence motion against the government. The opposition claims that Imran Khan’s government will fall during the no-confidence motion.

According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the party of Bilawal Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif has jointly formed an alliance named Pakistan Development Movement. Alliance leader Fazlur Rehman has said that we have made all the preparations regarding the no-confidence motion. Some leaders supporting the government are also in touch with us. In 2021 too, Nawaz Sharif’s brother Shahbaz Sharif had brought a no-confidence motion against the Imran government, but the Imran government was saved by one vote.

Pakistan Peoples Party chief Bilawal Bhutto has strongly attacked Imran Khan by tweeting. Bhutto wrote that most of the opposition parties are in favor of bringing a no-confidence motion. Imran government has lost public trust. Soon even the Parliament will lose its faith in the government. Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz had claimed that soon people are going to get good news.

Pakistan National Assembly There are total 342 seats in Pakistan National Assembly. 177 seats are needed to form the government. Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf currently has 156 seats. Imran is running a coalition government with allies. If the opposition’s claim about the allies turns out to be true, then Imran Khan’s chair may go. General elections are proposed in Pakistan in the year 2023.
