A record has been made in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a couple getting divorced just a day after their marriage. This has been recorded as the shortest marriage in the history of UAE.
Marriage is considered to be the bond of seven births, but sometimes this bond breaks so quickly that everyone is surprised. One such case has come to the fore in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Here, just a day after the marriage, the husband and wife got divorced. With this, this marriage has been registered as the shortest marriage of UAE.
Last year 648 sought Divorce
According to a report in ‘Khaleej Times’, the Ministry of Justice of the UAE has released the figures regarding the divorce that took place last year. According to these figures, 648 divorce cases were registered in UAE in 2021. The shortest marriage was of one day and the longest marriage was of 47 years. However, the couple, who separated after 47 years of marriage, was not a native of the UAE.
