During the event, which saw Dijak and Eddy Thorpe battling it out inside the ring, things took a turn for the worse after the two wrestlers ended up snapping the rope. The incident occurred after Dijak charged towards his opponent and slammed him into the corner of the ring, causing the rope to go limp and the equipment to fall apart.
In quick-thinking fashion, Dijak used the metal rod of the turnbuckle as a weapon to attack his opponent until referees rushed out to force him out of the ring. It happened just moments after Dijak was left with a nasty and bloody cut to the side of the head – which would cause him to leave the fight.
