In a heartfelt social media post, Becky expressed her creative journey: “My last album ‘Esquinas’ ignited a fire within me, inspiring new colors and ideas that I simply had to explore further. And so I did.” She added, “Since last year, I’ve been on a path of discovery, healing, and creation. Every piece of me is poured into this album, infused with love and dedication. You wanted more, and so did I. Por las Esquinas de la vida, nos Encontramos otra vez (‘On each corner of life, we’ll find each other again’).”
Filmed in vibrant Los Angeles, the “Otro Capítulo” music video features special cameos from Becky’s family and highlights local gems like the fashion brand Ghetto Rodeo and Bravo’s Charburgers. The new album, released via Kemosabe Records/Sony Music Latin/RCA Records, boasts 16 tracks, featuring collaborations with emerging talents like Tito Double P, Oscar Maydon, Delilah, and Óscar Ortiz.
This release comes on the heels of her newly announced tour dates for her first-ever headlining tour, now titled “Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo (Another Chapter).” Becky will be hitting the road to connect with Mexican-American communities across the U.S., starting in Chicago and making stops in cities like Milwaukee, San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, and San Diego.
