Georgia Brown, the former Head of Amazon Studios in Europe, has joined the board of Garden Studios, a sustainable film and television production hub based in central London.
Brown is a prominent figure in international TV and film, having led Amazon Studios’ expansion across the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in bringing popular shows such as Clarkson’s Farm, The Devil’s Hour, and All or Nothing to life. Before her time at Amazon, she held senior positions at Fremantle, BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios), and Shine.
In addition to her industry roles, Brown has served as the voluntary Chair of the BFI’s UK Skills Task Force, where she worked to develop the “Sustainable Skills for the Future” framework aimed at promoting growth and sustainability within the film and TV sectors.
Founded in 2021, Garden Studios boasts 300,000 square feet of production space, including sound stages and a permanent virtual production stage.
