The first episode of “Agatha All Along” has garnered an impressive 9.3 million views on Disney+ within its first week of streaming, following its premiere on September 18. This series is a spinoff of the popular 2021 Marvel limited series “WandaVision.”

Disney calculates views based on total watch time divided by the episode’s runtime, estimating that the episode was streamed for approximately 6.5 million hours during this period.

The viewership for “Agatha All Along” is comparable to other recent Disney+ releases, such as “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” which recorded 13.3 million views in six days, and “The Acolyte,” which achieved 11.1 million views in five days. However, it falls short of “Ahsoka,” the Star Wars series that premiered in August 2023, which attracted 14 million views in just five days.

Starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, the series follows her journey as she finds herself stripped of power, aided by a mysterious goth teen (Joe Locke) who helps free her from a spell. Together, they embark on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that promises to restore what they are missing. The cast also includes Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, alongside notable appearances from Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.

“Agatha All Along” is produced by Marvel Studios, with Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, and Jac Schaeffer serving as executive producers, and Trevor Waterson as co-producer.
