Jonah Hauer-King is the latest addition to the ensemble cast of Kathryn Bigelow’s upcoming untitled thriller for Netflix. The film will also feature Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Jared Harris, Greta Lee, Tracy Letts, Moses Ingram, Anthony Ramos, and Gabriel Basso, with Bigelow at the helm as director.
While Netflix has not commented on the casting, details about the film’s title and plot are still under wraps. Sources indicate that the story will unfold at the White House amid a national crisis. This project marks Bigelow’s first feature film since her acclaimed 2017 thriller, Detroit, which was produced by Annapurna Pictures.
Hauer-King gained significant attention for his role as Prince Eric in Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid. He recently appeared in the Peacock limited series The Tattooist of Auschwitz and is set to appear in the upcoming season of Doctor Who. He is represented by CAA and United Agents.
