9/11 attack

A message to mark the brutal attack of 9/11 has failed to shake the belief of people in democracy and freedom where people have refused “to live in permanent fear”.  Boris Johnson said to remark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 Attack.

The public is coming up together with the thought of sorrows, giving tribute to the one who had to leave the world under brutal circumstances but with a faith that depicts that “failure of terrorism”.

Approximately 3,000 innocents lost their lives in this terror attack including 67 Britons. To memorise the ones who lost their lives many events take place worldwide.

The attacks were planned by the Al-Queda from Afghanistan. The four US passengers jets were seized by the two suicide attackers among which two flew into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre in New York 

where the third plane crashed into the Pentagon, outside the US Capital, Washington DC and the fourth plane crashed into the field in Pennsylvania.

To mark the remembrance of this day, each year in the anniversary, a private sector of remembrance that has been organised by Sept 11, UK Families Support Group will be held at the Grosvenor Square in Central London.

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, the PM’s address will take place at the memorial event in the Olympic Park in East London. Where he mentions that the current updates and the condition of Afghanistan have been a major reason for strengthening the belief of people in freedom and democracy.

On September 11, 2001, twenty years ago, President Roosevelt’s word after the Perl Harbor incident ” a date which will always live in infamy” 

The attack was done by the terrorist with the goal of taking away the lives of the innocents and kill as many humans as they can, they also aimed at doing unveil acts of bloodshed in the world’s greatest democracy and superpower and also tried of taking away the freedom of people by such brutal attack.

Also, President Roosevelt said due to the openness of every religion and nationality every region were murdered that day.

Today we can say that after twenty years of perceiving the terrorist attack, where the terrorist tried to implement fear, grief and sorrow where they failed to shake the belief in freedom and security of the people.
