South Korean action-drama Revolver, starring Ji Chang Wook and Jeon Do Yeon, is set for a global release across 172 countries, including key markets such as the US, India, Singapore, and more. The highly anticipated film will make its debut on August 7, 2024.

The announcement, made on August 1, reveals that Revolver will not only be showcased in South Korea but also reach audiences in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Major regions for the film’s release include Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Mongolia, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, and various countries in North and South America. Additionally, the film will premiere in the Middle East.

The movie’s plot centers on Ha Soo Young, a female police officer wrongfully imprisoned for crimes she did not commit. Upon her release, she finds no compensation and uncovers that a man named Andy is responsible for her ordeal. Driven by a quest for revenge, Ha Soo Young seeks to reclaim her life and justice.

Ji Chang Wook, known for his roles in Worst of Evil and Welcome to Samdalri, plays a villain in Revolver, adding to the film’s intrigue. The cast also includes Im Ji Yeon, acclaimed for her role in Kill Boksoon, and Jeon Do Yeon, celebrated for her performance in The Glory. Legendary actor Lee Jung Jae, famous for Squid Game, also joins the ensemble. The film is directed by Oh Seung Uk.

With Korean content gaining international popularity, Revolver is expected to attract significant attention globally.
