For families planning to visit expatriate workers, specific conditions apply. The visa can be issued to parents, spouses, and children of expatriate workers earning a minimum income, with additional provisions for other relatives. Applicants must meet certain criteria, including providing round-trip tickets from national carriers and agreeing not to seek residency conversion for the visitor.
Moreover, adherence to the visit’s duration and agreement on medical treatment at private healthcare facilities are among the stipulations outlined. Stringent measures are in place to ensure compliance, with penalties for overstaying that include registration in the security control system for legal actions as per the Foreigners Residency Law.
In addition to family visits, Kuwait is also facilitating commercial and tourist visas under the new regulations.
