A video reveals that the creatures just appear film-accurate while looking at the table from a higher place, with the deception starting to fall apart when one draws nearer to the surface of the table. Despite the fact that advanced technology doesn’t exactly allow for faithful recreations of all Star Wars technology, Dejarik Creations demonstrates that a touch of creativity can make a huge difference. This latest iteration of the dejarik game from Dejarik Creations comes after a similar video the creator posted in 2016, which featured the same table however with the creatures coming to life via an augmented reality telephone app instead.
The holochess recreation from Dejarik Creations demonstrates exactly how admired and influential the original Star Wars films remain even today. While lightsabers are often considered the single most famous Star Wars prop, a speedy rewatch of the original movies demonstrates that there are incalculable other gadgets and bits of technology that are completely original and equally as inventive and one of a kind. Technology actually has a touch of catching up to do before there is a real, playable rendition of dejarik holochess, yet thankfully, up to that point, there are Star Wars fans like Dejarik Creations hard busy working making creative alternatives.
In a remarkable new form that was presented on Facebook, Dejarik Creations has managed to recreate the notable holochess game using a hologram fan. The stunning recreation was achieved by embedding a 3D projector fan into the table, allowing the dejarik creatures to appear as on the off chance that they are standing up and moving around. While the recreated game isn’t actually playable, it is visually incredibly near what was first showcased in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
A Star Wars fan has recreated the film’s notorious holochess game in real life using a 3D fan projector. Since the release of the main film in 1977, Star Wars has proceeded to become one of the most profitable entertainment properties in presence today. From popular shows on Disney+, similar to The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian, to upcoming motion pictures, similar to Rogue Squadron, Star Wars remains a mainstay of mainstream society.
