Married At First Sight groom Jackson Lonie has finally addressed his shock split from TV ‘wife’ Olivia Frazer following 10 months together. The plumber, 30, who split from Olivia, 28, early this month, broke his silence on Tuesday during a candid Instagram Q&A session with fans.
However, when quizzed on the reason for their break-up, Jackson remained tight-lipped. ‘Look, I’ve got this question a lot. No, I’m not going to be telling the break-up story because to be perfectly honest, it’s nobody’s bloody business except for ours,’ he declared.
Responding to questions as he worked out at the gym, Jackson confirmed that there’s no bad blood between himself and Olivia. ‘Yeah, we’ll take each day at a time… we’re still friends, we’re still on good terms and I think we always will be,’ he insisted.
Discussing his mental health, the reality star admitted that his life isn’t entirely perfect at the moment. ‘Look, I’m good. [You] have your s**t days, have your good days, as they say. On the s**t days, I spend sure I spend more time at the gym. That’s my happy place. Just got to do what makes you happy,’ he explained.
News of the breakup was confirmed last Monday in a joint statement from Olivia and Jackson on Instagram, which read: ‘After a wonderful 10 months together we have decided to go our separate ways.’
‘There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship. Jackson also confirmed he isn’t looking to date anyone else ‘straight away’, and is instead focussing on his personal growth. ‘I am just going to be myself, train hard and just get back to me,’ he said.

‘We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship. Simply a case of ”almost perfect”.‘We hope you all can please show compassion as we navigate this privately.’
The split comes after Olivia returned to Australia from a five week-long trip to the UK without Jackson, who remained on the Central Coast to train for an upcoming boxing match. Her overseas trip was prompted after Jackson was caught kissing a 20-year-old traffic controller on a night out in Melbourne on May 27.
