STACEY Solomon has revealed her upcoming wedding at Pickle Cottage will NOT be legal as she prepares to marry Joe Swash. The mother-of-four took to her Instagram stories to explain that she and Joe, 40, would have to register their marriage separate from their big day at their family home.

However, she revealed on Sunday night that she and her soon-to-be hubby Joe would have to get married “legally after” the big day. It came as her Instagram fans questioned how she was able to host her wedding at her home as they “didn’t think it could” happen.

Stacey, 32, has been preparing for her long-awaited wedding day in recent days as she counts down to the ceremony this week. The star is due to hold the nuptials at her sprawling Essex home, dubbed Pickle Cottage, surrounded by friends and family.

“I always wanted to get married at home and didn’t think you could, how does it work?” one fan had messaged Stacey. She then explained on her stories: “To get married anywhere legally, the place has to have a ‘civil ceremony’ licence.

“One of the requirements for this licence is that the premises must be made ‘readily available’ for ceremonies. “As this is our private family home and we need it to remain that way, we couldn’t go for that option.

She said she would be putting her phone away until it was finished and she was Stacey Solomon-Swash – the name she intends to take after the wedding. The star posted a picture from the bath at the £1.2million Pickle Cottage home she shares with Joe and their kids.

“We are having a relaxed private blessing in front of our closest friends and family and a ceremony of our love to each other, and we will register our marriage legally after.”It comes after Stacey QUIT social media over the weekend – saying she wants to focus on her wedding to Joe Swash. She wrote in a message on Instagram: “Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for your beautiful messages and the kindest well wishes ever.

“One of the pieces of advice all of you told me was to soak it all in and enjoy every second because it’s over in a flash.” She added: “So I’m going to say goodbye to my phone for a few days and make sure I take in every moment. I love you all lots.”

Naming Joe’s son, her two boys from a previous relationship, and their two youngsters, she concluded: “Lots of love from Joe, Harry, Zachary, Leighton, Rex & Rose. And me – soon to be Solomon Swash.”
