Miriam Margolyes has spoken about a foul incident that occurred with her former co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. The British-Australian actress, 81, has claimed Arnold passed wind in her face while the pair were filming End of Days in 1999.
Miriam went on to say the incident took place when the pair were filming End of Days in Los Angeles. ‘I was playing Satan’s sister and (his character) was killing me, so he had me in a position where I couldn’t escape, lying on the floor. And he just farted,’ she said.
‘Schwarzenegger, didn’t care for him. He’s a bit too full of himself,’ Miriam said on news.com.au’s podcast, I’ve Got News For You. ‘He was actually quite rude. He farted in my face. Now, I fart, of course I do, but I don’t fart in people’s faces. He did it deliberately, right in my face.’
‘It wasn’t on film, it was in one of the pauses, but I haven’t forgiven him for it.’ It comes after Miriam suffered a series of blunders earlier this month after she swore live on TV. The actress left This Morning viewers in hysterics as she apologised for causing offence in the past with her potty mouth, only to swear when making her apology.
‘And I don’t want to upset people because the whole thing is, life is s**t at the moment, it really is. It’s terrible.’ After releasing she’d just sworn anyway, Miriam exclaimed ‘Oh!’ as Phillip and Holly Willoughby burst out laughing.
After catching herself nearly uttering an expletive, Phillip Schofield said: ‘It’s such a shame because we love it when you just let rip,’ to which Miriam responded: ‘I know but it upsets some people. ‘I’ve let myself down, sorry,’ she said. ‘I just want to make people happy! I apologise to everybody for that word!’
