Grey’s Anatomy star Chris Carmack and his wife Erin Slaver jointly announced they are expecting their second child on Sunday.‘How do you celebrate your second baby girl? With a fiesta off course!’ the expecting 34-year-old gushed on Instagram.‘We are about nine weeks away! Thanks to all the wonderful friends who came to celebrate and to everyone who made this party unforgettable!’

Erin and Chris invited flamenco guitarists Caro and Molina to perform at their backyard baby bash.Other guests included Rand Holdren, Carmack’ co-star from Into the Blue 2: The Reef back in 2009.

The OC alum’s announcement received glowing comments from his Nashville castmate Charles Esten, This Is Us actress Briana Venskus-Vazquez, Pitch Perfect alum Skylar Astin, and It Chapter 2 actor Taylor Frey.

The East Coast natives originally met on the set of Nashville when he portrayed gay country crooner Will Lexington and she served back-up singing duties for Hayden Panettiere’s character Juliette Barnes.Slaver and Carmack are also a musical duo known as Life On Eris, and they released their self produced, five-track debut EP Stonewall in 2020.

Erin and Chris’ sweet harmonies have been featured on his ABC medical drama as well as Grey’s spin-off Station 19. ‘Songwriting can be almost like a therapy session,’ the former Abercrombie & Fitch model described on their website.

‘And not in the way that it necessarily makes things feel resolved, but it does peel back layers. We have to be open and honest with each other  and ourselves  to create a good song, even if it’s not necessarily how you want to walk around your house in the morning.’
