The 38-year-old actor made the most of a break from filming his upcoming movie Extraction 2 in Prague. He is a talented surfer and is often seen riding the waves in his hometown in Byron Bay. So it is no surprise Chris Hemsworth was keen to get some snowboarding lessons during his winter holiday in St. Moritz, Switzerland last week.

Chris Hemsworth showed off his prowess on the slopes during a winter holiday in St. Moritz, Switzerland last week Chris apparently spent two days in St. Moritz, where he enjoyed his downtime snowboarding with friends and had some lessons with an instructor.  The Thor star hit the slopes in a pair of khaki overalls, which he teamed with an olive green jacket and a black T-shirt.  

He also wore a black face mask, sunglasses, and kept his head warm underneath an olive green knit beanie.When he took to the slopes, Chris strapped on a helmet, donned ski goggles and slipped on a pair of thick gloves.He also wore brown snow boots, which were strapped onto his board as he expertly navigated the slopes.Chris worked his way across the snow fields with ease.

At one stage, the Hollywood heartthrob sat down on the run alongside a friend as the two men took a break from the activity. The affable actor even flashed the shaka sign, grinning as he walked around the ski resort.He was spotted chatting with another friend as they stood alongside each other on their snowboards. 

Standing at the top of the run, Chris held onto his board as he sized up the slope in front of him. He carried the board under one of his arms, before positioning himself on it and making his way down the slope. Chris has been taking full advantage of filming in Europe during winter, and enjoyed another snow trip with friends back in February.

The insider also revealed that ‘Elsa was stuck in her house for a number of days with no phone reception’, and is now helping friends and neighbours with the water having cleared.

Countless towns in Northern NSW and Queensland have been left devastated by catastrophic floods in recent days, with the clean up effort only now able to begin in some areas while others remain submerged.Chris has been in Europe since late last year as filming gets underway on the sequel to 2020’s Extraction.
