Wales’ restrictions on massive events and businesses brought in to tackle the omicron variant are going to be scrapped over consecutive fortnight as Covid cases drop.
First Minister Mark Drakeford aforesaid omicron cases are coming back down “rapidly” and rules are often relaxed “gradually”.

The Welsh government additionally pointed to the success of the booster campaign in enabling it to elevate restrictions, with 1.8m having received an additional dose.

There will be a four stage method, betting on cases remaining low:
Saturday: numbers allowed to attend an outside event can rise from 50 to 500

Friday 21 January: Crowds allowed to come to sporting events, paving the manner for rugby league full homes in Cardiff, and no limits on those attending outside events
