Despite the ongoing tensions within the royal family, Meghan Markle is reportedly set to receive a private birthday honor from King Charles and Queen Camilla on her 43rd birthday. Former royal butler Grant Harrold has revealed that the King and Queen might send personal birthday wishes to the Duchess of Sussex, who will celebrate her special day on August 4.

Harrold mentioned to OK Magazine, “Harry will make sure that Meghan is celebrated. I think they will get messages from the King and the Queen,” suggesting that these tributes may come through electronic or traditional mail. This follows last year’s absence of any official royal acknowledgment of Meghan’s 42nd birthday, which fueled speculation about the state of relations within the royal family.

Despite the royal family’s traditional public birthday wishes for Meghan, which included social media posts up until her 41st birthday, such gestures were notably absent in 2023. Harrold speculated that the King and Queen might still send a private gift, possibly from the royal collection, although the specifics of this remain uncertain.

Harrold also noted that any public postings are unlikely due to the current state of affairs between the royal families, adding, “They used to post on social media, but that hasn’t happened in the past few years, and I doubt that will change.”

Amid these personal and public dynamics, Meghan Markle has reportedly urged Prince Harry to reconsider his ongoing legal battles concerning security and media intrusion, hoping he might “let go of these lawsuits” and move forward.

As the royal family navigates these complex relationships, Meghan’s birthday celebration could serve as a subtle gesture of reconciliation or acknowledgment amidst the backdrop of strained interactions.
