Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Prime Minister Imran Khan. It is being told that there is increasing pressure on Imran to resign by the opposition parties for his failure to control corruption. The Pakistan Democratic Movement, a coalition of a dozen opposition parties, has announced the launch of a nationwide protest on 23 March.

A day before the meeting between Pakistan Army Chief Bajwa and PM Imran Khan, Transparency International had released a report on the rising corruption in Pakistan. According to this, Pakistan has slipped to 140th place.

Don’t ask for donations for Jihad: Lahore High Court
Lahore High Court has shown strictness regarding donations in Pakistan. Lahore Court said that no person or organization is allowed to raise donations in Pakistan in the name of Jihad. This act is treason. Along with this, the High Court rejected the appeal of two terrorists guilty of raising funds to help terrorist organizations.
