Rob Zombie has revealed new artwork for The Munsters to celebrate Halloween. The Munsters originally appeared on ABC from 1964-1966, starring Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster), Al Lewis (Grandpa), and Yvonne De Carlo (Lily Munster). The Munsters has been rebooted a couple of times throughout the long term, most as of late as a TV movie, Mockingbird Lane, in 2012 from director Bryan Singer.

Presently to celebrate Halloween, Zombie has revealed some new artwork for the movie. The new image shows Phillips, Zombie, and Roebuck’s characters in cartoon structure, wishing fans a Happy Halloween. Zombie’s original post can be seen underneath:

Getting another glance at the actors in outfit was tremendous for fans of The Munsters, however not every person is onboard with Zombie as the director. The Munsters is known for being a goofy, family-accommodating TV show, something particularly not the same as Zombie’s usual style. It’s impossible The Munsters will be rated R, yet given Zombie’s past movies, this could be the darkest variant of The Munsters yet. That being said, Zombie is by all accounts really attempting to capture the substance of the ’60s Munsters. When the movie was first announced, Zombie said he had been chasing the chance for a long time, and he also wanted 1313 Mockingbird Lane to be an exact replica of the set from the ’60s.

The latest artwork is one more sign that The Munsters will not be as dark as Zombie’s past projects. The new movie probably will not be as peculiar as the original series, however with Zombie’s clear passion for the property, it’s reasonable the important traits of Herman, Lily, and Grandpa will remain intact. When recording starts and official stills get released, fans will find out about what Zombie’s Munsters movie will resemble. Yet, for the time being, it’s reassuring to see Zombie capturing the cartoonish sensation of the original series.
