Kanye West has announced his latest album, titled “Bully,” and premiered the song “Beauty and the Beast” during a performance at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China. This event follows the release of his two “Vultures” albums with Ty Dolla Sign earlier this year.

Towards the end of his show, West excitedly revealed, “I got a new album coming out. The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.’” The track features West’s melodic vocals over a soothing instrumental, with poignant lyrics that include: “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”

Longtime collaborator Mike Dean hinted that “Beauty and the Beast” was a leftover from West’s 2021 album “Donda.” Alongside the announcement of his new album, West also showcased an updated version of the track “530,” which is featured on “Vultures 2.”

Later, West shared a photo from the event on his Instagram with the simple caption, “BULLY.”

Fans of West are accustomed to taking album announcements with caution, especially given the recent delays surrounding both “Vultures” albums. The first album faced several months of postponement before releasing on February 10, while the second was originally set for March 8 but didn’t drop until August 3.

West’s history of shifting projects dates back to “Good Ass Job,” which was expected to follow his early works, alongside various rumored releases over the years, including “TurboGrafx 16,” “Yandhi,” and “Love Everyone,” none of which have come to fruition.

This performance marked West’s second appearance in China this month, following a listening party on September 15, which was his first in the country in 16 years. Over the past year, he has hosted listening events with Ty Dolla Sign in support of their “Vultures” trilogy, including recent stops in South Korea and Salt Lake City. A planned event in Taiwan for late August was canceled just days prior.
