Noah Centineo and Ivanna Sakhno are set to star in the animated short film Meta, produced by the award-winning Prime Render Studios and under Centineo’s Arkhum Productions. Directed by Bozo Balov, Milivoj Popovic, and Veljko Popovic, the film features a screenplay by Veljko Popovic. Centineo will co-produce alongside Arkhum’s Head of Production Enzo Marc, as well as representatives from Prime Render Studios and Sacrebleu Productions.
Meta follows a lonely photographer navigating a disconnected world dominated by virtual reality. When he unexpectedly connects with an AI, he is challenged to explore the nature of consciousness and the blurry lines between reality and illusion. Enzo Marc expressed excitement about the collaboration: “We are beyond thrilled to be working with Ivanna and Prime Render Studios. Bozo, Milivoj, and Veljko are breaking new ground in animation, and Meta will be unlike anything audiences have ever seen.”
Centineo is also set to appear in the highly anticipated A24 film Warfare, directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland. Additionally, he will reprise his role and serve as executive producer for season 2 of Netflix’s The Recruit.
Sakhno is currently starring in the Disney+ series Ahsoka as ‘Shin Hati’ and will soon appear in Blumhouse’s M3gan 2.0, the sequel to the hit film.
Prime Render Studios, founded by Veljko and Milivoj Popovic in 2002, has garnered over 70 awards for their animated films, which have been showcased at more than a hundred film festivals globally.
Centineo is represented by WME and Myman Greenspan Fox, while Sakhno is represented by Gersh, United Agents, MJ Management, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
