ABC has released the trailer for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming nautical medical drama “Doctor Odyssey,” starring Joshua Jackson. The series premieres on September 26, with episodes available on Hulu the following day.
In “Doctor Odyssey,” Jackson portrays Max, the new on-board doctor on a luxury cruise ship, where the staff navigates both unique medical crises and interpersonal dynamics far from shore. The cast also includes Sean Teale, Don Johnson, and Phillipa Soo. Ryan Murphy serves as writer and executive producer, alongside director Paris Barclay and a production team from 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television.
In other news, Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden has joined comedian Natalie Peyton to launch “Snoriezzz,” a children’s mindfulness bedtime podcast through GoKidGo. The podcast features storytelling, meditation, affirmations, and calming music, aiming to make bedtime easier for young children.
