EXO’s Baekhyun has set a new record with his latest solo mini album, “Hello, World,” marking a significant achievement in his solo career. Released on September 6 at 6 p.m. KST, the album features the lead track “Pineapple Slice.”
Within just one day of its release, “Hello, World” sold over 890,000 copies, surpassing Baekhyun’s previous first-week sales record of 868,840 copies, which was set by his 2021 mini album “Bambi.” By the end of its first week (September 6 to 12), “Hello, World” had sold an impressive 1,096,995 copies, making it Baekhyun’s first solo album to achieve over 1 million sales within its initial week.
This milestone makes “Hello, World” Baekhyun’s third consecutive “million-seller” album, following the success of his previous solo releases, “Delight” and “Bambi.”
