Lil Wayne is set to reunite with his Hot Boys groupmates—Juvenile, B.G., and Turk—at the upcoming Lil’ WeezyAna Fest. The highly anticipated event will take place on November 2 at the Smoothie King Center in Wayne’s hometown of New Orleans, LA. The festival is produced by Young Money, Dmani, and Live Nation Urban.
In addition to the Hot Boys reunion, the lineup will feature performances from Rob49 and Mannie Fresh, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks. Fans had previously speculated about a Hot Boys reunion at Essence Fest in June, but Wayne chose not to join his former group members on stage at that time.
Juvenile recently hinted at a potential Hot Boys reunion album, and while Birdman expressed hope for a comeback, Wayne indicated he had not been involved in any recording sessions for such a project. Now, nearly 30 years after their debut, the Hot Boys are officially reuniting.
Brandon Pankey, VP of Business Development and Operations at Live Nation Urban, praised the festival, stating, “Lil Wayne embodies the spirit of New Orleans, and Lil’ WeezyAna Fest is a stellar showcase of the city’s dynamic and flourishing music scene.”
Presale tickets for the event are available today at 10 a.m. PT, with general sales starting on September 6 at 8 a.m. PT.
