Chrishell Stause is making headlines as she publicly calls out her Selling Sunset co-star Nicole Young for allegedly spreading a false rumor. With the eighth season of the popular reality show set to premiere on Friday, September 6, Stause took to Instagram Stories to express her outrage over what she claims is a damaging and untrue rumor spread by Young.

In a series of posts shared by Queens of Bravo on X (formerly Twitter), Stause, 43, revealed her discontent, stating, “I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.” She further accused Young, 38, of making a “disgusting lie” about a close friend, emphasizing that the rumor is both “categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging.” Stause’s posts indicate her firm stance against the spread of misinformation on the show.

The controversy has intensified as the new season nears its debut. Reports suggest that Young made a comment about Emma Hernan that has upset several cast members, including Chelsea Lazkani. Lazkani took to her own Instagram Stories over the weekend to address the situation, criticizing Young, Bre Tiesi, and Mary Bonnet. She wrote, “You lie, placate, steal, meanwhile your own [trash emoji] has landed some of you in lawsuits. I’ve kept quiet until now, but this is not okay.” Lazkani’s remarks highlight the escalating tensions among the cast.

In response to the drama, Stause shared a supportive post with Lazkani and Hernan, captioning it, “Love these girls so much! The days of us being afraid of lies being told are over. We have receipts and voices. Talk soon! Xo.” This post further underscores the solidarity among the cast members against what they perceive as falsehoods.

Meanwhile, Nicole Young responded to the backlash on her Instagram Stories with a series of photos of her dog. In a seemingly lighthearted manner, Young shared a note with a laughing emoji, saying, “With all the outside drama this weekend, this has been the vibe at our house #unbothered.” She followed up with another photo of her dog sleeping, captioning it, “Truly unbothered. Life is good,” suggesting she is not letting the controversy affect her mood.

Amid the unfolding drama, Stause also criticized the show’s production team, @done_and_done_productions, for including the contentious comment in the episode. Stause accused them of blindsiding Young and failing to allow her a chance to defend herself, stating, “You are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to show the world instead of at LEAST letting her defend herself with the TRUTH.”

As the new season approaches, the behind-the-scenes drama promises to be a major talking point, further fueling anticipation and speculation among fans.
