Janet Jackson is set to light up Las Vegas with a thrilling new residency at Resorts World Theatre. The pop icon, 58, shared the news on Instagram, expressing her excitement to start the New Year with fans. “We’re so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year’s week! This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! We truly can’t wait! Sending so much love ♥️ -J,” Jackson posted.
The residency will feature Jackson’s signature style and star power, promising fans an unforgettable experience. Bobby Reynolds, Senior Vice President of AEG Presents Las Vegas, emphasized the significance of Jackson’s return, stating, “We could not be more thrilled to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip and her venue debut at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and to kick off 2025 with a run of sure-to-be-unforgettable shows.”
Jackson’s residency begins with two performances on December 30 and New Year’s Eve, followed by additional shows on January 3, 4, and February 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15, 2025. Tickets for all 10 shows will go on sale starting August 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. PT on AXS.com.
This announcement follows the conclusion of Jackson’s 2024 Together Again Tour, which celebrated her 50th anniversary in entertainment and highlighted milestones from her acclaimed albums “The Velvet Rope,” “Janet,” and “Rhythm Nation.”
