Shares of Six Flags Entertainment increased by more than 3% on Thursday after the company revealed plans to introduce seven new roller coasters in 2025. This investment includes exciting new attractions such as the Wrath of Rakshasa, which will debut at Six Flags Great America in Illinois. The coaster will feature a dramatic 171-foot drop, reach speeds of 67 miles per hour, and offer five inversions.

In addition to the new roller coasters, Six Flags will expand its all-park passport program, allowing members unlimited admission and parking at all 42 Six Flags parks starting in 2025. This expansion is designed to enhance the overall guest experience across the company’s extensive park network.

CEO Richard Zimmerman expressed enthusiasm about the company’s upcoming plans, stating, “Our capital plans for the year ahead reaffirm our commitment to providing unparalleled thrills, immersive entertainment, and unforgettable memories to guests of all ages.”

The announcement has contributed to a notable rise in Six Flags’ stock, which is up approximately 11% for the year.
