Billie Eilish Shines in Beachside Performance of ‘Birds of a Feather’ at Olympics Closing Ceremony, Welcoming Games to L.A.

In a highlight of the 2024 Olympics closing ceremony, Billie Eilish delivered a stunning beachside performance of her hit single “Birds of a Feather,” setting the stage for the upcoming 2028 Games in Los Angeles. The performance took place on a watchtower with a breathtaking ocean view and featured Eilish dressed in a Team USA polo, alongside her brother and collaborator, Finneas.

The closing ceremony also included performances from Snoop Dogg, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and H.E.R. Eilish’s appearance was a nod to her hometown of Los Angeles, which will host the next Olympics.

Eilish’s latest album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” released in May, has been well-received, with “Birds of a Feather” emerging as a standout track. Her international tour, starting September 29 in Quebec, will see her performing in major cities including New York and Los Angeles before taking a break in December and resuming in February 2025.

The 2024 Olympics have been marked by musical highlights, including Lady Gaga and Celine Dion’s performances at the opening ceremony, and Taylor Swift and Beyoncé’s narrations in support of athletes.
