At the premiere of her directorial debut Blink Twice on August 8, Zoë Kravitz was visibly emotional as she paid tribute to her fiancé, Channing Tatum. Held at the DGA Theater, the event marked a significant moment for Kravitz, who praised Tatum for his steadfast support throughout the film’s production.
With tears in her eyes, Kravitz recounted how Tatum, who also stars in the film as a tech billionaire, had been a pillar of support. She shared anecdotes of his involvement, from serving as a producer to offering motivational pep talks and even physically assisting her during moments of doubt.
“You supported me in every way,” Kravitz told Tatum, reflecting on his role in both her personal and professional life. She acknowledged his patience and understanding, despite her own high standards and intense involvement in the project. “Making this film with you has been an incredible adventure,” she added, celebrating their collaboration.
Channing Tatum also expressed his joy about working with Kravitz in an interview with Access Hollywood, comparing the experience to the fulfillment of building a life together. He described the process as deeply gratifying, akin to creating a marriage, and highlighted the emotional investment both of them poured into the project.
The couple, who got engaged in October 2023 after romance rumors began in 2021, appeared together on the red carpet in matching black outfits. Kravitz dazzled in a black silk Saint Laurent gown with backless detailing, while Tatum looked sharp in a classic black suit.
Blink Twice, which also stars Naomi Ackie, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, and Alia Shawkat, centers on Ackie’s character, Frida, a cocktail waitress who becomes entangled with Tatum’s character, Slater King. As Frida accompanies him to his private island, their relationship faces dramatic challenges.
The film is set to hit theaters on August 23.
