Marvel’s Future Plans
Kevin Feige first introduced the Thunderbolts project at Comic-Con in July 2022, when he unveiled Marvel’s Phase 5 slate. The film is set to cap off this phase, with a release date scheduled for July 25, 2025.
Director Jake Schreier spoke at the D23 Expo in September 2022, discussing the project without revealing spoilers. He teased, “I think you’ll see an incredible group of people, who share a certain kind of past trauma, coming together, learning to work together in a way and overcoming some nondescript obstacles we can’t speak to.”
