Several prominent Texas Democrats, including U.S. Representatives Veronica Escobar and Joaquin Castro, have voiced strong support for Harris following Biden’s endorsement of her candidacy. Escobar emphasized Harris’s ability to lead the fight against Donald Trump’s “Project 2025” and called for unity behind the vice president.
“I am grateful for President Biden’s service and look forward to working to elect Kamala Harris as our next president,” Castro stated, echoing the sentiment of many delegates.
