Kit Connor, known for his role as Nick Nelson in ‘Heartstopper,’ has secured his next big-screen venture in the upcoming film ‘Warfare.’
According to Deadline’s report, Connor will feature in the project directed and written by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland. The cast also includes Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Finn Bennett, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Charles Melton, and Joseph Quinn.
Details of the plot remain tightly under wraps, marking Mendoza and Garland’s second collaboration after ‘Civil War,’ set for release next month.
Although Connor won’t reprise his role alongside Olivia Colman in ‘Heartstopper’ Season 3 due to scheduling conflicts, anticipation remains high for the series’ return to Netflix this October.
Creator Alice Oseman, enthusiastic about exploring Truham Grammar School characters in the new season, hinted at future endeavors in adult storytelling and screenwriting.
“I’m really excited about delving into adult characters, which I’ve never had the chance to do before,” Oseman commented. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working on the TV series and am open to more screenwriting opportunities, whether adapting existing books or crafting original content.”
As plans evolve, Oseman remains optimistic about the creative possibilities ahead.
