Ahead of the UEFA Euro 2024 football tournament in Germany, pupils from Milton Parochial Primary in the village of Milton Malsor, Northampton, have shown their support for the England football team in a heartwarming and creative way.
The young supporters, ranging from Reception class to Years 1, 2, and 3, came together to produce a special “good luck England” video. The pupils enthusiastically waved their St George flags and displayed specially made letters in the team’s colours, cheering on the national team as they prepared to compete on the international stage.
The school shared the video and accompanying photos with England’s social media team, hoping to bring a smile to the players’ faces and boost their spirits as they head into the competition. The excitement and pride were palpable among the children, who eagerly contributed to the effort to show their unwavering support.
Headteacher Mrs. Sarah Johnson expressed her pride in the pupils’ initiative, saying, “It was wonderful to see the children come together to support our national team. Their enthusiasm and creativity have been inspiring, and we hope the England team feels our encouragement all the way from Milton Malsor.”
The gesture from Milton Parochial Primary highlights the widespread support and excitement for the England football team across the nation. As the tournament kicks off, the school community, along with fans from all corners of England, will be eagerly watching and cheering for their team.
