Lee covers a great deal of ground in his interview, yet one of the most interesting points is the means by which they made and filmed the intense library scene that saw the first showdown between Cheong-san and Gwi-nam, the first of many before they are both killed. The chief reveals that it took them five days to film the scene, with many youthful actors becoming “unfit to convey motions in the wild action scenes.” In the end, the intensity and difficult work paid off as the scene (as well as the whole show) grasped the crowd as they watched the two apex predators go head to head in a sea of zombies. Fans were also shocked to see one of the first introductions of the “hambie,” or half-zombie.
All of Us Are Dead season 1 pulls off something special by focusing on a gathering of teenagers and exploring how they respond to a sudden hazardous situation. It seems like Lee wants to continue pushing the boundaries with season 2 by focusing on the survival of the zombies. Assuming the show is allowed a second season, it’ll be interesting to see how it flips the script and focuses on the zombies.

The Director of All of Us Are Dead, Lee Jae-kyoo, teases some season 2 story details that could occur assuming the show is restored by Netflix. All of Us Are Dead is a 12-episode South Korean series that focuses on a class of secondary school students as they endeavor to survive a zombie flare-up that has happened in their school, following Nam On-jo, Lee Cheong-san, Lee Su-hyeok and Choi Nam-ra. Originally a webtoon called Now At Our School, the show has turned into a hit and is the second Korean-language series to hit number one on the Netflix week after week charts.
All of Us Are Dead has collected a ton of fans all over the planet who are desperate for the show to answer many unresolved questions after the season 1 finale. Episode 12’s ending had the crowd questioning whether there were more zombies left out there, with Nam-ra saying that there were bounty more like her who required assistance. Notwithstanding, All of Us Are Dead’s first season finished through its original source material, sticking immovably to it as well. Also, it is uncommon for K-dramas to get a second season. Yet, similar as Netlfix’s other K-dramatization hit Squid Game, fans anticipate to hear assuming there will also be a second season for the hit zombie show.
