The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said vaccinated people should be tested 3 to 5 days to virus if they come into contact with someone covid 19 even if they have no symptoms. The health agency had said that vaccinated people did not need to be tested after to the virus unless they were experiencing symptoms .
The CDC said ,Even if someone has already recovered from Covid-19, it is possible, may not be possible that one could be infected with Covid-19 again. The latest guidance from the CDC said this is because experts do not know yet how long one is protected after recovering from Covid-19.
The agency has said that guidance because of the Delta variant, which now for most Covid-19 infections. The CDC noted that studies have shown vaccination provides a strong boost in protection in people who have recovered from Covid-19, but the new data shows vaccinated people infected with the Delta variant could infect others.
“If you were treated for Covid-19 with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma, you should wait 90 days before getting a Covid-19 vaccine.”
The CDC said that US citizens returning from abroad still have to present a negative Covid-19 test before boarding flights, regardless of their vaccination status. anyone who people tests positive for Covid-19 should still isolate for 10 days.
The CDC said that, fully vaccinated people return to wearing mask under some cicumtances .when level of community transmission levels are high everyone should wearing mask indoors &public indoor space when they are in public.
In a shift , the agency also recommended universal masking in schools.
Vaccinated people is close contact with unvaccinated people including children under age 12 consider wearing masks in public indoor spaces .
