Star Wars and the MCU share a ton practically speaking, from their stars to their parent organization (Disney, of course). This may be the first time two characters from these franchises seem to share a weapon, however the mileage on that statement may shift. What’s reasonable is that nobody in the MCU has had the chance to pull out a lightsaber just yet, however Duke is adequately interested enough to ask. Black Panther 2 would be a wild ride of M’Baku could use a lightsaber during a fight with a lowlife.
Of course, it isn’t yet clear who Black Panther 2’s scalawag will be. Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta was allegedly cast as a scalawag back in November 2020, yet his definite job has yet to be uncovered. Fans have their theories, from Namor the Sub-Mariner to Attuna. One thing is clear: This miscreant will have large shoes to fill, coming after Black Pather’s Killmonger. Perhaps M’Baku truly does require a lightsaber to bring down whoever the mystery trouble maker will be.
It just so happens, Duke is somewhat of a Boba Fett fan, and keeping in mind that watching the Disney+ series, he saw something pretty interesting. Duke shared side-by-side pictures of Fett and M’Baku and uncovered they use the same weapon. “Watching @bobafett use M’baku’s handle kerrie…” he composed prior to presenting an incredible suggestion: ” I believe that means I should get to use a light saber… It’s not out of the question!” He even labeled Star Wars in his post, yet no word assuming the powers that be wish to make his little glimpse of heaven.
Black Panther star Winston Duke realizes Star Wars’ Boba Fett uses a similar weapon to M’Baku and proposes an exchange between franchises. In the wake of showing up in a small job in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, Duke’s next MCU appearance will show up in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever not long from now. He’ll indeed play stubborn Jabari pioneer M’Baku, and reports show he’ll play a greater part in the film. Black Panther 2 is set to debut in November, however creation has been beset by in excess of a couple of delays since it started last summer. The film allegedly has a couple of weeks left.
