Laura Byrne recently left Covid-19 isolation after recovering from the virus alongside her fiancé Matty J Johnson and their two children .And on Monday, the 37-year-old revealed a weird quirk of losing sense of taste due to coronavirus.

The former Bachelor star shared a video to Instagram, explaining how she could still feel the heat when eating chilli but couldn’t taste any flavour. She  said, ‘I realised I never gave an update about my taste and smell situation after having Covid and I realised that because now everyone who has Covid have messaged and asked how it’s going and it’s back,’.

She  explained ‘I can taste, I can smell. I’m living in the land of having all my senses back. It lasted about seven days for me and it came back gradually like each day got a little bit better and better,’.

Laura went on to say: ‘Also for anybody who was asking about chilli and telling me to try chilli, it turns out you can still feel heat like for things that are tangy or things that were supposed to hot. I could still feel the sensation of it but I couldn’t taste flavour.’

 The former Bachelor star shared a video to Instagram, explaining how she could still feel the heat when eating chilli but couldn’t taste any flavor Just before Christmas, Laura tested positive to Covid during a car trip to Queensland with Matty and their two daughters.

Laura had driven the car six hours north from Sydney to see Matty’s family for Christmas before finding out about her diagnosis, and was subsequently forced to turn the car around and head home.

She  explained.Laura had to isolate with her family for 10 days,‘It turns out you can still feel heat like for things that are tangy or things that were supposed to hot. I could still feel the sensation of it but I couldn’t taste flavour,’.On New Year’s Day, the family-of-four looked delighted to be free as they headed to their local beach after completing their isolation.
