Angelina Jolie’s eldest son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, has been released from intensive care following a serious e-bike accident that occurred on July 29. The 20-year-old sustained complex injuries after crashing into a car in a busy Los Angeles area. According to police reports, Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which resulted in a severe head injury.
A source close to the family revealed to People on August 5 that Pax has been discharged from the ICU but faces a lengthy road to recovery, including extensive physical therapy. “Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” the source stated.
During his hospitalization, Angelina Jolie was reportedly by Pax’s side, offering unwavering support. His siblings also frequently visited to provide emotional support during this challenging period. The family expressed deep gratitude towards the first responders and medical professionals who provided swift and life-saving care.
The accident has brought the Jolie-Pitt family even closer, with a strong show of support from Pax’s siblings. Pax is one of six children shared by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The couple adopted three of their children—Maddox, Pax, and Zahara—while Shiloh and their twins, Knox and Vivienne, are their biological children.
Pax’s recovery is expected to be a gradual process, and the family remains hopeful and positive about his progress.
